  • A Motorist Runs Over A Cyclist Following An Altercation - Paris A motorist in an SUV deliberately ran over a 27-year-old cyclist on Tuesday 15 October in Paris, France. The tragedy is said to have occurred at around 5.45pm, a stone s throw from Place de la Madeleine, at the start of Boulevard Malesherbes, in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, at the height of rush hour. The two road users are said to have had a violent altercation and, according to the newspaper, just as they were getting back on their respective roads, the driver of the SUV, aged 48, collided with the young man and drove over him. The daily newspaper points out that sitting next to the driver in the passenger seat was his daughter, apparently a minor.
