PRODUCTION - 04 August 2023, Schleswig-Holstein, Lübeck: Chiara Engesser, archaeologist and excavation technician at the excavation site, uncovers a skeleton in the excavation site on Hüxtertorallee. Archaeologists in Lübeck have excavated a cemetery for the poor covering an area of around 8,000 square meters. From the mid-17th to the mid-19th century, thousands of residents and also employees of the so-called Armen- und Werkhaus St. Annen were buried here.
