The Shizuoka Prefectural Police arrested Masaki Oyama, a 38-year-old man, a self-proclaimed resident of Mishima City with an unknown occupation, on suspicion of attempted murder after he allegedly stabbed a male company employee with a knife inside the factory. According to investigative sources, the man was wearing what appeared to be a gas mask. Yokohama Rubber, headquartered in Hiratsuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture, and founded in 1917, primarily manufactures tires for passenger cars, construction equipment, and agricultural machinery.
