03 March 2026, Saxony, Leipzig: Carolin Widmann sits in her apartment with her 244-year-old violin. The musician was not allowed to take her violin case on board a flight. She then unpacked the valuable instrument made by Giovanni Battista Guadagnini in 1782 and held it on her lap like a baby during the flight. She then wrote an open letter to the CEO of Lufthansa.
