Tourists visit the Dolmen of Guadalperal megalithic site as it is now fully emerged after waters in the surrounding Valdecanas reservoir receded due to the drought hitting Spain, in Peraleda de la Mata on August 25, 2022. - The Dolmen of Guadalperal, dubbed the Spanish Stonehenge, is believed to date back to 5000 BC and was discovered by German archaeologist Hugo Obermaier in 1926. In 1963 the area was flooded in a rural development project but the current drought conditions have allowed these prehistoric standing stones circles to be fully exposed again.
