A Hawaiian stingray makes his way through the midday sunshine while swimming with over 70 different species of marine life in the three-story indoor oceanarium at the Pacific Beach Hotel in Honolulu, September 23, 2003. The 280,000 gallon tank of sea water houses aquatic animals from the Indo-pacific but mostly from hawaiian waters. The hawaiian stingray is the largest fish in the tank (4 feet wide from wingtip to wingtip and 90 lbs) and is a member of a family that includes dogfish, skates rays and sharks.
