Venezuela's state oil company PDVSA will invest $18 billion this year with $2 billion of that earmarked for new output from the OPEC nation's vast Orinoco heavy crude fields, officials said on Thursday. Venezuela's oil reserves are now considered to be the world's largest but output has slipped under President Hugo Chavez.
