US citizen, who was in contact with person who contracted Ebola in Africa, arrived in Prague Bulovka University Hospital during the night and is to be treated in isolation there for three weeks, May 21, 2026. The man will spend his isolation at the Clinic of Infectious Diseases at Bulovka Teaching Hospital, which has a special biobox for such cases, an airtight, transparent tent inside a room with its own air filtration system. It is not yet clear whether the man has contracted Ebola. According to available information, he has no symptoms. Until symptoms appear, Infectious Diseases Clinic head Hana Rohacova said, he will only be monitored at the hospital and will not undergo any tests.
