Due to a storm low, the first streets and shore areas on the Baltic Sea coast have been flooded by high water. Thus, in the morning, numerous streets and squares were under water in Wismar as well as in Kiel and and Flensburg. In the Flensburg Fjord, water levels can reach up to 2.0 m above the mean water level, and up to 1.30 m above the mean water level at Rügen.
