Le Pen came to support 23-year-old FN candidate Etienne Bousquet-Cassagne in his campaign for the upcoming legislative by-election to be held in June 2013 in the third constituency of Lot-et-Garonne after the resignation of socialist MP and former Budget Minister Jerome Cahuzac. According to today s French weekly Journal du Dimanche, Cahuzac, who is also the mayor of Villeneuve-sur-Lot, could run as an independent candidate in the by-election.
