Employees of the Lower Oder Valley National Park, rangers of the Brandenburg Nature Guard, employees of the Uckermark district and volunteers have been busy since the morning hours collecting dead fish in the area of the Lower Oder Valley National Park. For several days, the massive fish kill in the Oder River has occupied the authorities and residents of the river in Germany and Poland. According to the Polish Environmental Protection Agency, the fish kill in the Oder River was probably caused by water pollution from industry.
