Emmys 2015: Das sind die Sieger!

Die Emmys 2015 sind vergeben! Die wichtigste Preisverleihung in der Welt des Fernsehens ging in der Nacht auf Sonntag in Los Angeles über die Bühne. Comedian Andy Samberg moderierte die Show. Der große Sieger des Abends ist die Mini-Serie "Olive Kitteridge", die in neun Kategorien antrat und sieben der Goldstatuetten einstreifen konnte.

Die sind vergeben! Die wichtigste Preisverleihung in der Welt des Fernsehens ging in der Nacht auf Sonntag in Los Angeles über die Bühne. Comedian Andy Samberg moderierte die Show. Der große Sieger des Abends ist die Mini-Serie "Olive Kitteridge", die in neun Kategorien antrat und sieben der Goldstatuetten einstreifen konnte.

"Olive Kitteridge" wurde zur besten Mini-Serie gekürt, Frances McDormand und Richard Jenkins sicherten sich die Emmys als beste Mini-Serien-Hauptdarsteller, Bill Murray den Nebendarstellerpreis. Darüber hinaus setzten sich auch Regisseurin Lisa Cholodenko, Drehbuchautorin Jane Anderson und die Casting-Verantwortlichen Laura Rosenthal und Carolyn Pickman gegen ihre Konkurrenten durch. Lediglich in den Sparten "Herausragende Kostüme" und "Beste Nebendarstellerin" musste sich die Mini-Serie geschlagen geben. Letztere Auszeichnung ging an Regina King für "American Crime".

Auch die Veteranen unter den nominierten Serien erwiesen sich in diesem Jahr als durchaus erfolgreich. wurde zur besten Drama-Serie gekürt, Peter Dinklage sicherte sich den Nebendarsteller-Emmy. Die Goldstatuette für den Drama-Lead ging an Jon Hamm (für "Mad Men") - seit 2008 war er in jedem Jahr nominiert gewesen, hatte jedoch nie gewonnen.

Die Emmys für die besten Comedy-Serien teilten fast ausnahmslos "Veep" und "Transparent" untereinander auf. Die einzigen Ausnahmen: Allison Janney wurde als beste Nebendarstellerin (für "Mom") und Joan Cusack als beste Gastdarstellerin (für "Shameless") prämiert.
