Justin Timberlake Favorit für MTV-Preise
Der Popstar Justin Timberlake und der US-Rapper Macklemore gehen als Favoriten in die diesjährige Verleihung der MTV Video Music Awards.
Die beiden Musiker seien jeweils sechsmal nominiert worden, teilte der US-Musiksender mit. Dahinter folgt der Sänger Bruno Mars mit vier Chancen auf einen der silbernen Astronauten mit MTV-Flagge in der Hand, die als Preise vergeben werden. Auch Stars wie Taylor Swift, Pink, Miley Cyrus, Drake und Lana Del Rey sind nominiert.
In einigen Kategorien wie beispielsweise "Bestes Musikvideo" können Fans online über den Gewinner abstimmen. Die Verleihung der kurz "VMA" genannten Preise geht am 25. August im New Yorker Stadtteil Brooklyn über die Bühne.
