Zwei Facebook-Videos eines Tierheims, die einen Pitbull und einen Pitbull-Mischling beim verzückten Spielen mit einem Riesen-Tennisball zeigen, sind der neue Hit im Netz. Wer es anschaut, weiß wieso.
Wer Hunde eine Riesen-Freude bereiten will, der braucht nichts weiter als einen Riesen-Tennisball, wie zwei Facebook-Videos eines Tierheims zeigen. Der "" im US-Bundesstaat New Jersey bekam einen solchen von einem Hersteller für Hundespielzeug geschenkt.
Die Betreuer des Tierheims ließen es sich nicht nehmen, das Spielzeug an zwei ihrer Hunde zu testen. Der dreijährige Pitbull Maddox, den die Heimbetreuer als Tennisball-verrückt beschreiben, zeigte sich am Video ganz aus dem Häuschen.

It was obvious that it had been a long time since anyone had taken care of Maddox by the looks of him.Poor Maddox was rail thin, his skin was in terrible condition and his hair was falling out. It took about a month to get this sweet boy back in shape but now, Maddox is positively thriving and is ready to meet the family that will make his dreams of a good home a reality. Maddox is a friendly and outgoing little guy that does the whole body-wiggle as soon as you start talking to him. Give him a toy and you're his best friend for life! Maddox has a ball carrying around and squeaking toys, running in our exercise yard, and just making friends and enjoying life. It really doesn't take much to make him happy. Maddox is well behaved, sits and lies down immediately when asked, and is very gentle while taking treats. All this and he's good with other dogs and kids too. What more could you ask for? Etwas skeptischer war da schon der einjährige Pitbull-Mischling Benson, der zunächst noch verunsichert am Mega-Ball herumschnüffelt. Schließlich findet aber auch er Gefallen an dem Riesen-Spielzeug und tummelt vergnügt damit herum. Da geht nicht nur Hundefreunden das Herz auf.
It took Benson a few sniffs of the giant ball to realize that it was not some big green alien that was out to destroy him and once he did, he had a blast rolling it around! This ball was given to us by our friends at Lacey Pet Supply and it was obviously made for promotional purposes but whoever made it, please send us more! Our dogs are having the time of their life with it! Check out Benson in action then read his story below. You can come in and meet our silly boy anytime!Benson is just a year old and this boxer/pit mix was rescued from a backyard that he was thrown in to after being slashed by some cruel person. Benson received emergency medical treatment for his wounds and was transferred to us at Popcorn Park for his recovery. He was so scared and shy when he arrived that he would not even go out for a walk. With lots of help from our staff and from other dogs, Benson learned to come out of his shell and enjoy life. He is now a happy and bubbly puppy that is eager to meet a family that will give him the great home he deserves. Benson is still shy when meeting new people so it may take a couple of visits to gain his trust. Once you have, Benson will truly love you forever and practically melt in your arms. Benson bonds quickly with people and makes lifelong friends. He is so playful and fun loving, and is overjoyed to kick around a ball in our exercise yard for hours. He loves the dogs that he has been staying with in our recovery suite and given the time, will bond quickly with another dog. He is even good with cats.
