OpenAI hat mit Sora 2 ein neues Modell für die Videoproduktion mit Künstlicher Intelligenz vorgestellt. Am Dienstag brachte das US-Unternehmen zusätzlich eine App raus, die an die Onlineplattform Tiktok erinnert. Damit kannst du dich selbst in von KI erstellte Szenen einfügen.

OpenAI, das auch ChatGPT entwickelt hat, spricht von einem großen Sprung bei der Fähigkeit von KI, realistische Videos zu machen. Das System kann nun laut Angaben der Firma synchronisierte Dialoge, Geräusche und naturgetreue Bewegungen erzeugen.

"Sora 2 kann Dinge tun, die für frühere Videogenerierungsmodelle außerordentlich schwierig - und in einigen Fällen sogar unmöglich - waren", erklärte OpenAI. Im Unterschied zu älteren Systemen, die Objekte verzerrt und die Realität verbogen haben, um die Vorgaben für das Video zu erfüllen, hält sich Sora 2 stärker an die echten physikalischen Abläufe.

Zusätzlich hat OpenAI eine App vorgestellt, mit der du KI-Videos in einem Feed ähnlich wie bei Tiktok oder Instagram teilen kannst. Die App ist derzeit nur mit Einladung in den USA und Kanada verfügbar.
